Our client is a well- established and leading Global MNC in Real Estate Investment in multiple geographies globally. They are now looking to hire a Finance Director. This role will focus on reviewing reports for board meetings, Financial Analysis and Business Partnering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly and quarterly variance analysis on financial performance.
- Manage consolidation and preparation of management reports for forecasting and budgeting.
- Review and analyze quarterly reports and board papers.
- Advise business teams on investment, asset management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with tax advisors for effective deal structuring and tax due diligence for acquisitions and divestments.
- Ensure financial operations align with group financial and reporting guidelines in coordination with country teams.
- Review internal control processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial processes.
- Work with external auditors to ensure efficient audit closing.
- Handle additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or tertiary qualification in Finance.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, particularly with listed companies.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing SGX announcements and board papers.
- Experience in advising on acquisitions and divestments.
- Knowledge of cross-border taxation, financial management, and risk management.
- Strong business acumen, maturity, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
