Job Description
We are looking for a Research Fellow for the Green IC group led by Professor Massimo Alioto, at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS).
The selected candidate is expected to:
1. invent the No.1 bio-related system.
2. quantify the battery's environmental impact (LCA).
3. examine the dataset from Net Zero and Imec.
4. develop an environmental impact database.
5. explore data for PCBs (printed circuit boards) and packaging.
The research will take place at the National University of Singapore for a period of three years. The appointment can commence immediately with a 1-year contract, with prospect of extension. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Qualifications
The candidate must possess:
• A PhD in either Electrical Engineering or strictly related (e.g., sustainability).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team player who collaborates and communicates effectively with large teams of researchers.
• Track record of research publications in reputable scientific journals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings effectively.
• Open to fixed term contract.
