Working hours: 9am to 6pm (Mon to Fri)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Submit requests for quotes and requisition to suppliers/vendors
- Handling purchase orders and purchase requisitions
- Follow up closely with vendors/suppliers for timely delivery and ensuring quality of goods
- Carry out administrative and inventory duties such as updating of databases and proper filing
- Liaise closely with accounts department to ensure prompt payment to suppliers and its related matters
- Inspect and ensuring proper quantity and quality of goods upon delivery from supplier and to follow up for any damages/shortages
- Manage multiple projects, communications and co-ordination
- Assist with other ad-hoc requests as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Supply Chain/ Logisitic Management or equivalent
- 1 year of procurement related work experience preferred. Candidates with less than 1 year of experience are welcome to apply
- Detailed, meticulous and resourceful
- Highly responsible and able to multi-task
- Self-motivated attitude with the ability to take ownership of projects
- Good verbal, written communication, presentation skills, interpersonal skills
