Job Responsibilities:
- Co-chair internal case reviews alongside the Head of Department.
- Oversee casework management in the hostel, ensuring case/social workers align with the overall philosophy. Provide supervision and guidance to junior social workers, social work associates, and interns in case management, clinical skills, and operational/administrative tasks.
- Lead projects and tasks to achieve departmental goals.
- Manage individual cases, including conducting case conceptualizations, setting goals and intervention plans, conducting monthly individual and family sessions, and reviewing progress toward goals.
- Collaborate closely with Probation Officers (POs), Child Protection Officers (CPOs), and other stakeholders such as families, schools, and employers. Develop partnerships with stakeholders, including existing and prospective employers, schools, CSO agencies, pro-social communities for reintegration efforts, and community partners.
- Conduct therapeutic group sessions for clients, including evening sessions (7-9 pm).
- Prepare for, attend, and present cases at Internal and External Case Reviews to update on intervention progress.
- Document casework and prepare reports in accordance with licensing requirements.
- Coordinate with the Hostel Operations & Development Department to provide essential information for scheduling daily activities.
- Support other ad-hoc duties as needed.
Requirement:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent with 5 years of experience in the social service sector or a similar setting.
