Job Role and Responsibilities

  • An E-Commerce Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the management of an online store, ensuring efficient operations, and driving sales growth. The role involves:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring smooth order fulfillment, and resolving issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve conversion rates, and expand customer base.
  • Oversee product listings, descriptions, and images, ensuring accuracy and compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure accurate stock levels, reduce stockouts, and optimize inventory turns.
  • Supervise customer service representatives, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
  • Assist in planning, executing, and analyzing e-commerce marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and paid advertising.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, website metrics, and customer behavior, providing insights to improve business decisions.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of e-commerce professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve goals.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, and logistics.
  • Stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with e-commerce regulations, laws, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce, with a focus on operations, sales, or marketing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), MS Office, and Google Analytics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
