Senior Functional Consultant - Healthcare Domain

Job Title: Senior Functional Consultant / Business Analyst

Location: Singapore (with required travel)

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering and Business Process Modeling: Conduct a thorough analysis of customer's As-Is and To-Be processes, business rules, forms, and transaction screens. Map end-to-end processes, business rules, forms, and transaction screens into a modeling tool. Propose improvements to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
   
2. Gap Analysis: Analyze gaps between customer expectations and application capabilities. Provide detailed documentation and recommendations to bridge identified gaps.
   
3. Application Deployment:Perform application configuration tailored to client specifications. Conduct key user training sessions. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure product functionality meets client requirements.
   
4. Status Updates and Risk Management:Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders. Forecast upcoming activities and potential risks. Recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies.
   
5. Client Interaction and Support:Engage with clients to gather business requirements and conduct gap-fit analysis. Craft product roadmaps and work with subject matter experts to define technical, functional, and non-functional requirements. Conduct product demos and user training and provide post-live support.
   

Prerequisites:

• Experience: At least 7 years of experience as a Functional/Business Analyst in the IT + healthcare domain and at least 15 years of experience in the IT domain. Proven experience in at least two Hospital Information Systems (HIS) implementation cycles. Previous work experience with EMR, EHR, HIS, CPOE, and other healthcare IT products. Hands-on experience with healthcare standards such as Medicare, ICD-10, CPT, NDC, HL7, JCI, NABH, LOINC, SNOMED, and HIPAA.
  
• Technical Skills:Proficiency in SQL queries, MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, SQL Developer, Oracle BI, Microsoft Power BI, and Minitab.
  Familiarity with tools such as JIRA for user story creation and backlog management.
