Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Test Analyst to be responsible for end to end execution of overall test strategy for our client.
Mandatory Skill-set
- At least 2-3 years of experience in the field of software Quality Assurance;
- Prior work experience in banking channel domain;
- Strong understanding the life cycle of both manual and automated testing;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications;
- Familiar with Software Testing Development and Testing methodology, especially Agile;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience with JIRA, SQL, and API tools will be advantageous;
Responsibilities
- Develop and document clear and well-targeted test cases for use by yourself and other QA testers based on Business Requirements, current System functionality, and Functional Specifications/Narratives;
- Define comprehensive test scenarios and data variations to perform end-to-end testing, including API verification and SQL validation;
- Thoroughly test multiple functionalities and document results by capturing end-to-end testing steps during execution;
- Submit defects and issues to development for correction, and retest once errors have been fixed following established procedures;
- Track defects and analyze them to closure;
- Ensure that testing is completed on schedule;
- Collaborate closely with the development team and business users throughout the entire project;
- Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and reduce redundancies in testing efforts, minimize complexity, and create efficiency without compromising effectiveness;
- Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within a team environment, managing tight deadlines and changing priorities.
