RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide efficient solutions and improve the development of processes and quality of the
products.
DUTIES:
1. Verify and document product defects, conducting thorough analyses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
2. Providing responsive support to the production floor, addressing inquiries and technical issues promptly to minimise downtime and enhance operational efficiency
3. Follow documented processes while continuously improving and updating procedures to ensure quality, productivity and cost efficiency
4. Offer technical expertise in preventive maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques for equipment and machinery
5. Identify areas for improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost reduction, proposing and implementing corrective actions
6. Review department procedures related to product quality, work environment, safety standards (e.g. TS-16949, ISO-14001 and Safety Management System, etc) and recommend changes for compliance and enhancement
7. Manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards
8. Assist in machines and equipment shifting when necessary, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruptions to operations
9. Manage all sample bearings and associated documentation requests, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
10. Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk software, utilising these tools effectively for engineering design and modifications
11. Proficient in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), employing this methodology to identify potential failures and mitigate risks proactively
12. Efficiently plan and allocate own work time to carry out assigned duties, including those listed and any other specific instructions or assignments given by superior
