About Our Client
Our client is a Singapore-based leader in electrical engineering, providing innovative solutions for grid control and substation automation. A dynamic company with a strong track record, and we're looking for a talented Accountant to join the growing team.
Job Description
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient management of AP, AR, GL, and project accounting
- Maintaining timely and accurate financial records for statutory reporting
- Ensure timely completion of statutory accounts, financial statements, tax filings, and adherence to all relevant compliance regulations.
- Continuously monitor and improve financial accounting procedures, ensuring alignment with company policies and best practices.
- Assist in developing annual budgets, creating monthly cash flow forecasts, and generating insightful management reports (both periodic and ad-hoc)
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax agents, and the corporate secretary, to ensure seamless completion of audits, tax filings, and corporate matters. Prepare audit-related schedules and documentation as needed.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Meticulous attention to detail, with a proactive, independent, and results-oriented work ethic
