Operations and Documentation
• Handle Letter of credit and shipping documents and co-ordinate shipping operations activities
• Co-ordinate with Banks, Suppliers, Customers and Carriers
• Provide efficient, reliable and timely support in vessel chartering (Tankers & Bulk Carriers)
• Provide sales support to Trading Managers, existing clients and new opportunities
• Ensure smooth loading & discharging operations to prevent demurrage.
• Responds to vessel issues, coordinating with concerned parties until resolution.
Analyst
• Perform market segment research.
• Long term / short term forecast of commodity / vessel market to form trading strategies to maximise profit and manage risks.
Commercial
• Drafting & sending of sales contracts to buyers.
• Manages a fleet of regularly chartered vessels to facilitate trading.
• Actively maintains close business relationships with buyer, seller & shipowner.
• Market development of various commodities.
Job Requirements
• Degree/diploma in Maritime, no experience required, TRAINING PROVIDED!
• Experience in Maritime, shipping, chartering in Maritime industry/Oil/Commodity Trading
Salary range: SGD 3,800 to 5,000
