Job Summary
This role works with Finance Manager to ensure the accuracy, integrity, legality and timeliness of financial reports in accordance to the country's regulations and property standards and support operation to achieve the property's financial goals.
Job Description
• Responsible for the review of accounting transactions and invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Support all audit related matters including preparation of audit schedules, attend to audit queries and provide information required.
• Perform intercompany balances reconciliations.
• Handle fixed assets register including create asset master data and perform fixed asset count and reconciliation.
• Prepare Balance Sheet Schedules for all Balance Sheet items ensuring its accurate and free from long outstanding items
• Prepare bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and file quarterly GST returns.
• Ensure that all required coverage of all insurance policies of the property are in effect as well as necessary licenses are renewed according to the country's regulations and monitoring contracts renewal.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor/management
Key Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience with good understanding of accounting standards
- Possess strong work ethics, good interpersonal and communication (written & oral) skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Has good initiative and positive working attitude
- Able to work effectively and contribute in a team
