Position Overview:
Sales Engineer is responsible for driving the sales of water pump products to various industries and clients. The role involves understanding customer needs, ensuring the optimal selection and installation of water pumps. Providing technical support to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients in various industries (e.g., contractors, construction, manufacturing, municipal, OEMs).
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Prepare quotation and deliver technical presentations and proposals to customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Assist clients with technical queries and provide after-sales support.
- Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and offer tailored solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and project progress.
Requirements:
- Polytechnic or ITE Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in sales, preferably in the engineering or related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
- Valid driver’s license with own car will be an advantage
