Description:
- Oversee the safety of swimmers and prevent injury by providing supervision to the area at regular intervals (e.g. patrol around the pool), reacting immediately to any emergency and identify any possible signs of distress.
- Provide pool rescue in accordance with set emergency procedures.
- Inform users when necessary to abide by the rules and regulations of the swimming complexes.
- Perform regular inspections of swimming pool environment and lifesaving equipment in the swimming complexes.
- Be familiar with swimming complexes’ SOPs and adhere to requirements such as pool surveillance procedure, emergency action plans
Requirement:
- Possess a minimum of three (3) GCE ‘N’ Level passes (or higher) of which one shall be the English language;
- Possess at least a Bronze Medallion (BM) issued by the Singapore Life Saving Society (SLCC);
- Possess certifications in First-Aid, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Possess at least two (2) years of relevant experience as a lifeguard and be proficient in the operation and maintenance of swimming pool equipment
