Our client, a renowned and prestigious international bank, is seeking a seasoned Credit Risk professional to join their Risk Control & Monitoring Department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary reviewer for new case evaluations, performing independent credit assessments of submissions from the Corporate Banking and Treasury Departments.
- Conduct independent annual credit reviews and ad-hoc assessments of existing credit cases from the Corporate Banking and Treasury Departments.
- Prepare necessary documents, including original credit applications and voting forms, and draft minutes for credit committee meetings.
- Ensure timely submission and review of annual credit files.
- Generate and manage periodic risk reports (daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual) in accordance with the Routine Report List.
- Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures as needed.
- Review KYC and CDD processes.
- Assist in market risk and liquidity risk management.
- Support China Head Office reporting and inquiries.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments as required by the Bank.
- Manage and maintain filing of all records.
Requirements:
- A good degree in Finance, Business, Accountancy, Economics, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial services.
- Strong understanding of credit risk management and mitigation practices, along with knowledge of issues and developments affecting the banking industry.
