The Finance Manager will be responsible for assisting the Head of Controlling with overseeing the full controlling functions for Asia Pacific region. You will also take the lead to drive regional projects to positively impact productivity gains across each region.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Assist the Regional Head of Controlling to oversee the full Controlling functions for the Asia Pacific region
- Analyze and provide in-depth insights to each of the Region’s 9 Market Organization’s (MO) P&L performances; includes review of Working Capital Balance Sheet accounts, pricing decisions, Headcount investments plans
- Lead and conduct monthly calls with each Market Organisation’s Head of Finance and Controlling Team to understand, analyze & drive their respective MO’s performance
- Consolidate and analyze monthly actual performances and issue flash reports to the Regional Executive Management Team
- Collaborate with each Market Organisation’s Head of Finance with regards to the periodic Rolling Budget consolidation, analysis, alignment and eventual submission to the Regional Executive Management Team Prepare quarterly presentations to both the Regional Executive Management Team as well as to the Global Executive Board
- Responsible for periodic planning and controlling of Regional Hub costs for allocation to each of the Region’s 9 Market Organisation.
- Review and collaborate with centralized Logistics, Repairs, Inventory functions to drive Working Capital gains throughout Asia Pacific region
- Lead, drive and implement projects to positively impact productivity gains across each of the Region’s 9 Market Organizations
- Drive and implement simplification and standardization initiatives across the Asia Pacific region
Person Specification:
- Strong educational background with tertiary and postgraduate qualifications with an emphasis on finance
- 10 years’ experience in finance, business management or a closely finance related field
- Managerial and leadership experience combined with business exposure and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Well developed and proven analytical skills
- Advanced negotiation and influencing skills
- Proven track record in motivating teams
