About the Role
The Department of Oncology imaging provide diagnostic imaging services to support patients. You will independently perform all general and certain specialised radiographic examinations such as ultrasound and other imaging modalities of diagnostic quality with due regard to patient care, clinical responsibility, radiation protection and effective use of technology.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform radiography independently to produce high quality diagnostic images as well as provide excellent services and care to the patients.
• Supervising student radiographers and leading Quality Improvement projects, coordinating with other staff and clinicians on radiographic-related issues
• Responsible for quality control programmes and maintenance of imaging equipment and accessories
• Able to specialize in advanced imaging such as Computerized Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound or Mammography.
Job Requirements
• Recognised Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
• Registered or eligible for Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) registration
• A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Candidates with supervisory experience may be considered for senior position
• Entry level candidates are welcome to apply as on-the-job training will be provided
