As the Director – Channel Partner, you will be responsible for managing sales
activities across multiple regions including Myanmar, Nepal, Africa and the Indian
Subcontinent. Your primary focus will be on promoting and selling Paper &
Printing specialty grades through various channel partners within these territories.
This role requires strong leadership abilities, strategic thinking and the ability
to drive sales growth while maintaining strong relationships with channel partners
and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Management:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives across Myanmar, Nepal, Africa and the Indian Subcontinent.
- Manage and support channel partners to ensure effective distribution and penetration of Paper & Printing specialty grades in the designated regions.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management.
2. Channel Partner Management:
- Identify, recruit and onboard new channel partners in alignment with company strategy.
- Provide training, guidance and support to channel partners to enhance their sales capabilities and product knowledge.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, distributors and dealers to maximize sales opportunities.
3. Market Development:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for business growth in the Paper & Printing specialty grades market.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
4. Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategic plans and initiatives for market expansion and revenue growth.
- Recommend pricing strategies, promotional activities and product enhancements based on market feedback and analysis.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product development and logistics teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues related to sales, logistics and customer support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in sales management within the Paper &
- Printing industry, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and managing channel partners.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Experience working in international markets, particularly in Myanmar, Nepal, Africa and the Indian Subcontinent, is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned regions.
