· Min Degree in Banking & Finance or other relevant field
· Min 4 years of trade finance experience preferably within banking industry as a Checker role
· 6 Months Contract / Additional 2 headcounts due to increasing workload
· Basic Salary up to $ 7,500 / CBD
Job Responsibilities:
· Handle Letters of Credit (import and export), guarantees, and bills for collection, ensuring adherence to high quality standards and timely service for our customers.
· Uphold the highest standards of compliance, adhering to International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules, bank policies, and all relevant regulations.
· Process import and export Letters of Credit efficiently and accurately, in accordance with international regulations. This will directly support our business units and strengthen relationships with our clients.
· Ensure all trade finance activities are conducted within the framework of banking credit lines granted to customers.
· Organize, supervise, and direct activities within the bills processing, import/export financing, and letter of credit establishment functions.
· Respond to customer inquiries promptly and effectively, addressing their needs and concerns.
· Review all applications and documents presented by clients, ensuring compliance with policies, rules, and regulations.
· Supervise the work of bills processing staff, ensuring all departmental activities adhere to established policies and regulations.
· Other ad-hoc duties assigned
Job Requirements:
Min Degree in Banking & Finance or other relevant field
Min 4 years of trade finance experience preferably within banking industry as a Checker role
Excellent computer skills especially in Microsoft suite
Good communication skills and detailed personnel
Timeline-sensitive personnel with good critical thinking mentality
