About Our Client
Our Client is the leading provider of modular security in the BTC ecosystem, unleashing the possibilities of the world’s best economic collateral. We’re one of the premier Babylon ecosystem partners and work closely with the team in extending BTC re-staking support to AVS applications of all shapes and sizes.
We are founded by serial entrepreneurs from MIT, Stanford, Y Combinator; and backed by notable leaders in crypto, including Hack VC, Castle Island Ventures, OKX Ventures, and Franklin Templeton.
The Role
Our mission is to be the #1 provider of modular security for the fast-growing BTC ecosystem, including BTC L2s, DAs, and Rollups. In order to fulfill our mission, we are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Growth Lead to join our team.
You will lead Our Client’s’s growth on multiple fronts – growing our public presence, identifying areas of expansion, creating and publishing content, and discovering new mediums of outreach and growth.
As our first growth-oriented team member, you will have the opportunity to shape and grow Our Client’s. We will look to you to create effective systems for growth, drive results with our external partners, and work directly with the leadership team to define and achieve goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy: Develop, implement and manage long-term strategies and short-term initiatives that grow the Our Client’s ecosystem.
- Community: Design and build social media communities across channels (Twitter/X, Discord, Telegram, and more); work with community managers to help build Our Client’s an engaged social media community and spot opportunities for team members to engage on social media.
- Marketing: Work with the team to develop and implement engaging marketing campaigns to build brand and product recognition; employ creativity to build fun, engaging and viral influencer-rivaling content and memes.
- KOL & Media: Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers, media outlets, and industry partners to amplify Our Client’s’s presence.
- Market & Trends: Keep abreast of the rapidly-changing growth and marketing landscape in blockchain and pivot approach rapidly as needed.
- Events: Assist the team in creating, executing, and following up on dynamic and engaging events and announcements.
- Content: Oversee content encouraging learning about Our Client’s, the BTC ecosystem, security within BTC and BTC L2s.
- Management: Work with other team members to drive growth more broadly and in particular on cross-functional projects; hire and manage social media interns, and other marketing team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in growth/marketing in the crypto/DeFi ecosystem, developing and implementing growth and marketing campaigns across social media.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a growth or marketing role in a startup environment.
- Experience with tools and platforms, including social management, analytics, and more.
- Naturally a networker; social and personable.
- Basic technical fluency; you can explain, at a high level, various technical challenges and answer some technical questions.
- Passionate about crypto/DeFi.
- Excellent speaker and writer.
- Excited about taking on new challenges and taking responsibility for goals.
Standout Qualities
- Active involvement in the Bitcoin community.
- Prior developer-focused marketing or evangelism experience.
- Experience at or working with a L1/L2 blockchain (e.g., Eigenlayer) or similar (e.g. portfolio support at a venture firm).
- Technical background.
- Willingness to relocate to Singapore.
