Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The Accountant will manage financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, prepare accurate financial reports, and support the overall financial health of the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Fixed Assets Management: Maintain the fixed assets list, conduct annual physical counts, and ensure all fixed asset-related transactions are conducted and recorded according to the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Payment Processing: Record and process payments for local vendors, ensuring all supporting documents are in place and all expenses are approved by appropriate personnel before payment.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • GST Filing: File GST on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Adjusting and Accrual Entries: Prepare adjusting and accrual entries as needed.
  • Analysis: Provide financial analysis and support for various projects as needed.


Ad-hoc: Complete ad-hoc tasks and other duties, as assigned


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
