The Value Engineering Manager for the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region plays a crucial role in driving customer success, sales enablement, and partner enablement initiatives. This role is responsible for leading a team of value engineers and overseeing the execution of value assessments, value realization studies and FinOps analysis to demonstrate the tangible benefits of our solutions to customers and drive increased adoption in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of value engineers to deliver exceptional support and guidance to customers and partners.
- Value Assessments and Studies: Oversee the execution of value assessments, value realization studies, and FinOps analysis to showcase the value proposition of our offerings and drive customer adoption and retention.
- Thought Leadership: Develop thought leadership content, whitepapers, and case studies to establish our company as a trusted advisor in the industry and drive awareness of our solutions in the APJ region.
- Sales and Partner Enablement: Collaborate closely with sales teams to provide strategic support, enablement, and training on value-based selling techniques and tools. Partner with marketing teams to develop compelling collateral and sales tools that effectively communicate the value of our solutions to prospects and customers.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders internally and externally to understand market trends, customer challenges, and competitive landscape, informing product development and go-to-market strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of value engineering processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in value engineering, financial analysis, or related roles within the technology industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Deep understanding of value-based selling methodologies and techniques.
