Job Description:
- Support the Community Development Councils (CDCs) and Community Centres/Clubs (CCs) to engage and outreach to heartland merchants and hawkers.
- Guide and encourage merchants and hawkers to sign up for the CDCs’ scheme.
- Equip merchants and hawkers with the knowledge and skillsets during the onboarding process.
- Perform simple troubleshooting on IT devices for merchants, hawkers and residents.
- Liaison for CDCs’ merchants, hawkers, and residents to handle enquiries and feedback related to the scheme.
- Work closely with other government agencies and merchants’ associations.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by CDC.
Work Schedule:
Location: Tampines
Salary: $3000/month
Duration: Until 31 Dec 2024
5-day workweek but work schedule is to be determined by the respective CDCs (i.e. the workday).
Example of 5-day work week:
Monday – Thursday: 9.00 am to 6.30 pm
Friday: 9.00 am to 6.00 pm
Lunch: 1 hour
Job Requirement:
- Good relationship management/interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge and ability to guide others on the use of smart phones/devices and e-payments.
- Strong team-player, yet able to work independently.
- Fit and able to walk long distances for engagement work outdoors, able to work on evenings, weekends and public holidays - when required.
