Duties and Job Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for payment in 3 ways matching method and ensure the GL code & cost center are properly recorded
- Prepare the payment voucher from system and bank platform
- Capture the payment transaction in the system and properly keep all the relevant document with proper numbering assign to the file
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions with the supplier’s SOA on regular basis.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues with internal & external parties
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Analysis of accounts payable ageing by vendor
- Prepare the creditor schedule & creditor confirmation for audit purposes or management meeting
- Assists prepare the cash forecasts on a weekly basis and monitor cash balances.
- Fill in the form such as supplier credit form & bank matter and arrange for signatures
- Assist in tracking payments
- Handle holding’s supplier’s invoice and payment voucher
- Assist in migration data
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments as and when required
Qualifications & Experiences
- At least a Diploma in Accounting or relevant field
- Full set AP position with minimum 3 years relevant working experience preferably in offshore and marine construction.
- Possess at least an Intermediate level in MS Excel
- Preferably hands-on experience in Oracle, SAP and or ERP system
