Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Company in the management and administration of construction work projects
- Responsible for the achievement of all project objectives
- Provides vital coordinating factor for the successful implementation of the various departmental objectives related to the project
- Liaises with the owner directly in all matters pertaining to the contractual requirements of the contract
- Manages the project within budget and on schedule while ensuring acceptable quality as well as maintaining high safety standards
- Leads, defines, plans, controls and closes the project
- Establishes Change Order process where necessary
- Directs and manages individuals and departments to achieve project goals
- Pre-empts problems ahead and implement corrective measures for the successful completion of the project
- Convenes and chairs meetings with the project team for the purpose of conducting periodic reviews of the project
- Interacts closely with Production personnel and be constantly at the work site to maintain progress on the project
- Ensures that all delivery documents specified in the contract are compiled and delivered to the owner
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering/ Naval Architecture or related engineering disciplines, Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcomed to apply
- Minimum 4 years of relevant project management experience in marine industry. Preferably with international FPSO experience
- Able to demonstrate experience or skills in the management of large and complex projects
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
- Able to motivate in a challenging work environment
- Able to be deployed for long term overseas assignments when required
- Good in decision-making, planning, organising, interpersonal skills and able to work independently
- Good cash flow projection and able to control project costs
