Responsibilities:
- Maintain and oversee accounting records on AR/ AP/ GL/ banks/ accruals/ fixed assets/ reconciliations & etc.
- Work closely with the Financial Controller to understand the drive of performance, challenge decisions, manage performance, set financial targets, analyse data and provide sound financial commentary.
- Keep a timely, full and accurate set of company accounting books reflecting its activities in a manner commensurate with statutory requirements and subject to internal guidelines from time to time.
- Implement continuous financial audit and control systems to monitor the performance of the company, the adherence to the budget, the cost of sales and other budgetary items.
- Drive the continuous review of accounting policies and processes and management accounting matrixes to measure resource performance in a timely manner and duly prepare and present the company's financial and management reports.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, business plans, and all other financial and business documents as may be required from time to time.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- At least three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
- Savvy with MS Excel and complex accounting systems. Familiarity with Microsoft AX Dynamics will be an added advantage.
