Responsibilities
- Lead team of junior traders in performing trades
- Apply relevant trading strategies to guide positions during various market trends or economic conditions
- Conduct negotiation of buying and/or selling activities
- Perform market analysis team to form buy or sell decisions
- Analyse commodity (futures) portfolio to identify trading opportunities globally
- Apply organisation's controls to safeguard trade portfolio positions
- Prepare periodic portfolio status reports
- Collaborate with inter department/team to manage risks arising from trades
- Execute targeted trade partnering implementation plan
- Initiate working-level relationships with existing networks and possible trade partners
Requirements
- Minimum Masters Degree from a renowned University in Business or relevant, with major in Mathematics or Finance
- At least 5 years of solid experience in futures trade, with at least 3 years of team leading experience
- High familiarity of the China and other Markets
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and Mandarin to handle clients of different Nationalities
- Consistent proven records of trade objectives achievements
- A dynamic and effective team player who is innovative and forward thinking
