The Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. They will collaborate with department heads to develop strategies for improving financial performance and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
SCOPE:
- Accounting and bookkeeping of the Hub legal entity including month end closing and reconciliation
- Tax compliance matters of the Hub including Corporate taxes, GST and transfer pricing
- Controls and compliance of internal policies and external regulations and standards
- Internal and external audit incl. preparation of statutory accounts
- Payment of invoices
- Improvement of RTR and PTP processes incl. any UATs needed when systems are updated
- Cashflow forecast and other global reporting matters incl. mfgr variance table
- Responsible for monthly regional consolidation and estimate for APAC inventory estimate
- Controls over inventories incl. performance of regular stocktakes
- Financial management reporting and variance analysis
- Supporting in the monthly management retrieval/ reporting for the Supply Chain team
- To assist in the ad hoc finance duties delegated by the Finance Director
- Working Location: Bugis
- Working Hours: 8.30am - 5.45pm (Monday-Friday)
- Able to commit for 8 months contract starting from 1st September 2024
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor of Degree holder in Accountancy, preferably a certified CPA.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with background in accounting and audit. Previous financial analysis experience in an MNC.
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Methodical and strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and perform under pressure.
- Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in using SAP
