Podcast Videography Pre and Post-Production Specialist & Recruitment Researcher
We are seeking a highly organised, versatile, and creative individual to join our team as a Podcast Videography Pre and Post-Production Specialist and Recruitment Researcher.
This multi-faceted role requires excellent administrative, research, and technical skills to support executive management, manage office operations, assist in recruitment efforts, and oversee the videography process for our podcast series.
Key Responsibilities:
Podcast Videography Pre and Post-Production:
- Concept Development: Collaborate with the podcast team to develop video concepts and storyboards.
- Scheduling: Coordinate filming schedules, including booking locations, equipment and talent.
- Script Writing: Assist in writing and refining scripts to ensure clarity and engagement.
- Equipment Preparation: Set up and test all video equipment (cameras, lighting, microphones) to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Filming: Operate cameras and audio equipment during podcast recordings, ensuring high-quality footage.
- Video Editing: Edit video footage to create engaging and polished episodes, including cutting, color correction, and adding effects.
- Audio Syncing: Ensure audio and video are perfectly synchronised.
- Graphics and Animation: Incorporate graphics, titles, and animations to enhance the visual appeal of the podcast.
- Sound Editing: Clean up audio tracks, add background music, and mix sound to achieve professional quality.
- Review and Feedback: Work closely with the podcast team to review edits and incorporate feedback.
- Final Output: Export final videos in various formats suitable for different platforms (YouTube, social media, website).
Recruitment Researcher:
- Candidate Sourcing: Identify and source potential candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn searches, job boards, social media, networking and direct executive search (headhunting).
- Screening: Conduct initial screening of resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Research: Research industry trends and gather market intelligence to inform recruitment strategies.
- Database Management: Maintain and update candidate databases and recruitment records.
- Coordination: Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers.
Administration
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to executive management, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Travel Arrangements: Organise travel plans, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries.
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing company events, meetings, and conferences.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
- Task Management: Manage and prioritise executive tasks and projects to ensure timely completion.
- Office Manager:
- Office Operations: Oversee daily office operations, including maintaining office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure efficient office operations.
- Budgeting: Assist in managing office budgets, including expense tracking and reporting.
- Staff Support: Provide support to office staff, addressing any administrative or logistical needs.
- Policy Implementation: Implement and enforce office policies and procedures to maintain a productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Office Manager, Recruitment Researcher, and in videography and video editing.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), audio editing tools, and graphic design software (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop).
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creativity: Strong creative vision and the ability to bring concepts to life visually.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the team and executive management.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality production values and efficient office operations.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous work in video production and editing.
