Key Accountabilities
Managerial responsibility
- Responsible and oversee overall facilities management and preventive maintenance of the portfolio of properties
- Recommend, develop and coordinate plans to achieve cost efficiencies in relations to facilities management. Able to generate reports to update project status
- Prepare and implement annual budget for building use and facility maintenance
- To establish and maintain healthy working relationship with vendors and peers.
- To monitor, update, control and enhance existing business and work processes.
- Operationally, the role requires you to work with build, lead and supervise a team of in-house technician to;
- Monitor day-to-day facilities and maintenance work, and to upkeep the functionality & aesthetic of the facilities.
- Monitor and follow up on the scheduled building maintenance from time to time, including license renewal, maintenance of Fire Protection System, flushing of water tanks & grease trap.
- Manage user expectations and assist in implementing preventive and corrective building services.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties and perform preventive property maintenance promptly to keep the property functioning in good condition.
- Ensure compliance of safety & building regulations and all other statutory requirements.
- Perform any ad-hoc task as assigned by the management.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Facilities Management / Building Maintenance or Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years of related working experience in maintenance of M&E systems or building facilities and implementing improvement works
- Understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Possess knowledge in contract administration, authority requirements and Workplace Safety & Health Act.
- Knowledge of processes, methodologies and techniques used to manage facility
- Proven experience as managerial role
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrable leadership experience with high-performing teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
