This position coordinates all end-to-end purchase order management activities and communicates with cross-functional teams. This position also supports report generation and analysis as needed.
- Order Management / Returns (+ DDR support) process to make sure all POs are sent to vendors by deadline.
- Co-ordinate with Planners / Vendors on order submission within the required timeline
- Ensure timely order placements, acceptance, and revisions to vendors.
- Maintain and update accurate delivery dates, quantities, costs, and descriptions on purchase orders.
- Follow up on the purchase order, shipping, and receiving status.
- Monitor order fulfilment & shipment tracking status and provide to internal and external stakeholders.
- Other duties identified by Business Unit Heads (Beauty, Fashion, Liquor/Food)
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent
- At least 2-3 years of experience in relevant industries like travel retail or ecommerce retail (merchandising, sourcing, planning, allocation)
- Demonstrate strong partnering and working relationship skills.
- Demonstrate positive attitude with the ability to be responsive to feedback.
- Willingness to learn new skills and processes.
- Proven strong problem solving & analytical skills.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Must be proficiency in Excel with lookup functions and report.
- Ability to quickly learn specific customized tools, systems, and sub systems (Microsoft D365 or SAP experience will be beneficial)
