Overview
As a Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) Architectural Inspectors (Assistant / Senior) you will need to ensure all architectural works are carried out in accordance to approved specifications. You are to adhere to Greyform Integrated Management System (IMS) and compliance to Building Construction Authority (BCA) on Prefabricated Bathroom Units (PBU) Manufacturer Accreditation Scheme standards and guidelines, as well as customers’ requirements.
Responsibilities
1) Monitor daily work architectural progress and check in work done by Sub-contractor.
2) Implement and improve on standard SOP for site work relating to architecture.
3) Conduct routine inspections on architectural works to ensure smooth progress & compliance with approved design and specification.
4) Perform In-coming, In-process & outgoing inspection.
5) Check and study drawings before disseminating information to sub-cons and workers.
6) Liaise with respective sub-contractors on work methods and sequencing.
7) Coordinate and Monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with contract requirements.
8) Ensure proper housekeeping and safety provision at site working area for sub-cons and workers to carry out tasks.
9) Assist in review and development of project specifications for code compliance and constructability within BCA standards.
10) Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required.
11) Coordinate with other department to resolve inspection questions.
12) Audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with the company quality assurance policies and customer specifications.
13) Participate in internal Audit.
14) Authorise to stop operation if conditions are out of safety measures or not able to achieve specified process / operation conditions.
15) Maintain 5 “S” in the production floor.
16) Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and the designated manager.
