Azure DevOps Engineer

- Salary Package: Up to $8800 (basic) + AWS
What We Seek to Accomplish Together:
As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving our automation initiatives. You will develop and manage automation playbooks/runbooks/cookbooks to streamline service delivery and operational tasks. You will implement automation use cases, manage the automation platform to ensure its availability, and support day-to-day operational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Development: Develop automation playbooks/runbooks/cookbooks using technologies such as Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Chef (Ruby), Terraform (HCL), Groovy, JavaScript, and other scripting languages.
- Operational Automation: Implement and manage automation use cases in production, modifying and troubleshooting as needed.
- Platform Management: Ensure the automation platform is operational and available at all times.
- Operational Integration: Run and manage automation playbooks in day-to-day operations, integrating with tools like ITSM.
- Code Control: Understand and manage code control and versioning of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
- Script Testing: Develop automated scripts to test automation playbooks before operationalization.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of IT experience with at least 3 year of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud.
- Azure Certified Solution Architect Expert (preferred).
- Conversant with IaC infrastructure definition tools such as Terraform, and Azure Resource Manager, using YAML/JSON deployment templates.
- Python/Ansible/Shell scripting skills for provisioning and automating dynamic cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with containerization, and orchestration (preferred). Working knowledge of API Gateways and reverse proxies.
- Familiar with DevOps CI/CD pipelines and customisations.
