About the Job
- Develop, calibrate, and validate VISSIM traffic models for small to large-scale transport projects.
- Review and analyze existing VISSIM models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Interpret and analyze traffic data to inform model development and calibration.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations to communicate modelling results and findings to clients and stakeholders.
- Provide technical support to other team members.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in traffic modelling and simulation.
About the Candidate
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in traffic modelling and simulation using VISSIM.
- Proven experience in developing, calibrating, and validating VISSIM models for various scales of projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Experience with modelling in Singapore context
- Experience with other traffic modelling software (e.g.,SIDRA, VISUM, VISWALK).
- Knowledge of transport planning principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with GIS software and tools.
- Understanding of sustainable transport practices and policies.
