Duties
- Design and implement AI algorithms for image, video and audio processing.
- Develop machine learning models for content recognition, scene analysis, and adaptive display adjustments.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize AI algorithms for embedded systems.
- Conduct research to explore new AI techniques applicable to TV and monitor technologies.
- Advise product management and project team on requirements related to AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize algorithms for image enhancement, noise reduction, HDR processing, and upscaling.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to improve AI models iteratively.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of AI solutions through rigorous testing and validation.
- Stay updated with advancements in AI, machine learning, and computer vision.
- Be familiar with AI related regulations (Eg. EU AI Act, Google's Secure AI Framework (SAIF)
- Propose/Lead/participate in feasibility studies for AI related know-how projects
- Contribute to the innovation of display technologies and human-computer interaction in TVs and monitors.
- Keep abreast of leading technologies in the area of cloud/edge AI and identify relevant applications into TVs/Displays/Audio products as well as IoT Smart Home devices.
Desired Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
- Proven experience in AI solutions for image and video processing, ideally in consumer electronics.
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Strong understanding of LLM/SLM models, machine learning concepts, deep learning, neural networks, and reinforcement learning.
- Experience with optimizing AI algorithms for embedded systems or GPUs is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to reach out and communicate externally to technology partners to convey concepts and develop them into product roadmaps.
