We are seeking a motivated and experienced Clinic Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience working in a clinical setting and possess a strong passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities :
- Receive, screen, interview, and register patients; take and record vital signs, as appropriate to clinic operations; may assist with routine medical procedures, as appropriate to training and/or certification. (ECG, Spiro, Audio, Plebo if certified)
- Answer telephone inquiries from patients and others; screen calls to determine nature and urgency of inquiry, refer calls as appropriate, and/or schedule appointments with the doctor in-charge and instruct patients as needed regarding administrative and/or logistical procedures.
- Obtain simple patient’s histories, and insurance approval as appropriate; prepare and update medical charts and associated record and enter patient’s data into Plato Medical Systems.
- Collect, verify, record, and maintain data on clinical activity and/or research; prepare associated report as required.
- Order and maintain inventories of supplies and medication, as required to support day-to-day clinical and administrative operation.
- Provide day-to-day staff support for the unit, including preparing documents and reports and providing office services.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and serviceability of unit facilities and equipment.
o Keeping track of cancelled cases and follow up cases and ensuring no disruption to the continuity of their care.
- Stock keeping of admin consumables and medical equipment supplies.
- Pack medication for patients and ensure they receive them safely under supervision.
- Assisting doctor and nurses when called upon.
- Any other project work within the scope of the clinic and healthcare service provision as directed by your immediate supervisor.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
