KEY ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
· To strategize, implement and liaise with country management, local functional teams, and subcontractors to implement security standards and requirements.
· To strategize and implement local security instructions based on corporate or client security requirements.
· To strategize, implement and oversee security Point of Contact for Clients and Authorities.
· To strategize, implement and conduct security risk assessments and ensure corrective and preventive measures are undertaken.
· To strategize, implement and oversee investigation, record and review security incidents.
· To report and escalate QHSSE and/or business disruption incidents
· To strategize, implement and oversee audit on subcontractors & follow-up on corrective actions
· To strategize, implement and oversee support for commercial, insurance and compliance efforts
· To strategize, implement and oversee security awareness for local employees.
· Domestic travel required
· Must be contactable via mobile or other means during office hours, and occasionally outside office hours.
· Assist in the facilitation of quarterly Enterprise Risk Management meeting, collate risk registers, risk progress reports and insurance registers from overseas BUs
· Maintain and/or update and develop materials relating to Business Continuity Plan and Manuals and ensure that planned Business Continuity Plan exercises are carried out
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
· Able to work under stressful conditions and respond to urgent inquiries from internal or external clients when incidents occur.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL AND / OR TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATES
· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Security, or relevant disciplines.
· Certificates related to security planning, design, deployment, equipment, or investigations preferred.
· Certificates related to business continuity are helpful.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
· Working experience with supply chain security and/or business continuity
· Working experience with TAPA and other security standards
· Experience in training or coaching others
· Membership of security industry association
NECESSARY TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
· Fluent in English and local language(s)
· General understanding of air, ocean, road & warehousing activities, flows, relationships, and constraints
· Minimum 5 years working experience in security, safety, business continuity or related disciplines.
· Academic working and thinking level
WORK LOCATION
May need to travel between east & west region but open to be based at either as a primary location.
WORK HOURS
9.00am - 6.00pm (Mon-Fri)
