As a Junior Legal Secretary, you will be vital in supporting our Legal Secretary and Lawyers, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our firm. Your attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multitask will be crucial in managing various administrative tasks and maintaining accurate and up-to-date legal documentation.
Job Responsibilities
- Open new legal e-files and/or close e-files
- Keeping track of timelines in litigation matters
- Prepare simple legal documents &/or correspondence (including emails)
- Organise all legal documents & ensure they are updated
- Ensure all court documents are in order & filed before stipulated deadlines
- Manage workplace legal technologies
- Provide administrative/secretarial support for lawyers e.g. screen phone calls, take messages, e-filing of documents/emails, manage expenses/claims etc
- Tend to other ad-hoc requests or projects from the wider team
