Responsibilities:
Contracts
· Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements, contracts and other legal documents, such as sales and purchase agreements, tender documents, services agreements, reseller agreements and NDAs
· Collaborate with business units of the company and its regional offices through provision of legal support and practical advice during the contract review and negotiation process
· Apply risk management controls and proactive identification of legal issues to provide a timely and effective contract review process
ISO Management
· The successful candidate will be in charge of managing all ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certifications, including acting as the document controller and ensure proper control of documents and records.
· Take charge of the internal and external audits, liaison with external providers for audit matters, engagement with relevant departments to ensure processes are relevant and updated, follow up with relevant stakeholders on any post-audit actions
· Communicate updates to the company as and when necessary.
Corporate Matters
· Assist with corporate secretarial matters, such as drafting of board resolutions and SGX announcements
· Liaison with external firms on corporate secretarial related matters
· Maintain records of the company and its regional offices
Requirements:
· Possess a law degree from an internationally recognized institution
· Minimum 3 years of experience in a law firm or as an in-house counsel, preferably with good knowledge of contract terms and proficiency in contract drafting
· Experience in management of ISO standards or similar international standards
· Possess good time management skills to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
· Strong business acumen with excellent writing and communication skills to communicate with
colleagues from regional offices
· Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills
· Meticulous, organized and conscientious individual with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative
· Self-motivated, willing to learn and take on new challenges
