Job Description:
- Lead and oversee the finance team, emphasizing cross-border operations in Southeast Asia.
- Ensure adherence to regional taxation laws and regulations, managing all tax-related activities.
- Manage cross-border payment processes, ensuring compliance with country-specific withdrawal and financial reporting requirements.
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial models to support strategic decisions.
- Provide detailed financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Work with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- Guide the company through Series A or B funding rounds, using prior experience to maximize financial outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals align with overall business objectives.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
- At least 6 years in a senior finance role, focusing on managing cross-border teams in Southeast Asia.
- In-depth knowledge of regional taxation, cross-border payments, and country-specific financial reporting requirements.
- Proficient in financial modeling and strategic financial planning.
- Experience with companies undergoing Series A or B funding rounds.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting financial information effectively to senior management and stakeholders.
