Job Description
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including month and end-year processes, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, budgeting, cashflow forecasting, and revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
• Conduct financial analysis, monitor accounting data, and produce accurate and timely financial reports and statements.
• Analyze sales and profit reports, manage product costing, and verify inventory reports.
• Ensure proper accounting methods, policies, and principles are established and followed.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits, ECI, and tax computation.
• Improve accounting systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Manage online banking, fixed asset activity, monthly payment arrangements, and monthly Forex management.
• Conduct reconciliations of capital assets, bank account statements, and other financial transactions.
Human Resource & Administrative:
• Oversee full spectrum of HR & administrative tasks including factory management / repair & maintenance
• Admin PO verification & approval
• Verify payroll & payment arrangement / CPF / IR8A submission
• Implementation of Company policies, procedures, and ensure smooth office operations.
※Above HR & Admin duties will be mainly handled by another employee but you need to manage the employee who is in charge of HR & Admin and support as assistance manager.
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance is preferred
• Minimum 4 years working experience in similar capacity preferably in manufacturing industry with management experience
• Mandarin language skill is required to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts including the ones in China
• Good knowledge of accounting standards
• Good knowledge of Singapore labour and employment laws is advantages
• Proactive, organized, meticulous, able to work independently with minimal supervision
• MS Office proficiency, know Infotech or SQL software is an advantage
• Ability to practice high level of confidentiality
• Prefer if available immediately or within short notice
