A highly reputable cybersecuirty firm is looking for an experienced finance professional to join their team! Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the month-end close process, including review of all legal entity transactions such as accounts payable, general ledger, P&L, balance sheet, accruals, and flux analysis across Asia Pacific countries.
- Ensure timely preparation of reporting packages and financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP.
- Supervise tax and regulatory compliance for multiple jurisdictions within the APJ region.
- Conduct internal audits, manage SOX compliance, and mitigate risks.
- Oversee external audits and treasury operations.
- Support Go-to-Market, operational, and functional department heads in identifying cost drivers and achieving P&L targets.
- Perform flux analysis comparing actuals to budgets and provide financial insights for business decisions.
- Develop and lead financial dashboards for business stakeholders.
- Manage revenue accounting, billing, and revenue operations.
- Oversee outsourced service providers for accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide policy and procedure guidance to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior management, finance teams, and business stakeholders in Asia Pacific and globally.
- Implement accounting policies, standards, processes, internal controls, and corporate projects.
- Lead initiatives to streamline, standardize, scale, and automate processes, procedures, and controls.
- Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to the team.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- At least 10 years of experience, including experience within reputable audit firms.
- Experience managing internal and outsourced teams.
- Ability to understand accounting outcomes and explain accounting treatments.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP, with experience in preparing financial statements.
- Proficiency in tax compliance and familiarity with local tax laws, regulations, and statutory requirements in Asia Pacific countries.
- Strong business acumen and FP&A business support experience, with the ability to analyze financial data in a business context.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with colleagues from diverse countries and cultures.
- Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
