Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Calisthenics Instructor to join our team. You will lead and inspire individuals of all fitness levels through engaging and effective calisthenics classes, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead a variety of calisthenics classes, catering to different skill levels and pace.
- Create a supportive and motivating atmosphere for beginners, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident in their practice.
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and progressions, emphasizing safety and correct form.
- Offer modifications and variations to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities.
- Maintain a clean and organized studio space, ensuring equipment is properly set up and stored.
- Participate in or promote member community events.
- Conduct both group and private classes as needed.
- Provide constructive feedback to clients to help them improve their technique and achieve their goals.
- Take over duties of colleagues who are absent if required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in calisthenics training and technique.
- Ability to develop or adapt to our proprietary training methodologies for individuals and groups.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and exercise physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Current CPR/AED certification (sponsored if needed).
- Maintain open availability for a minimum of 4 classes a week.
- Ability to conduct classes with good customer rapport.
Other experiences for consideration:
- Experience teaching group CrossFit / Calisthenics / Bodyweight / Gymnastics / Parkour classes.
- Experience in gymnastics, acrobatics, street workout, parkour, CrossFit, or functional fitness.
- Professional Athletes or other accreditations by Sports Singapore
- Experience in personal training or group classes
- Knowledge of nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time/Freelance position with flexible hours based on your availability, class schedules, and member demand.
- Cozy studio environment with showers and towels for instructors.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate from $40 to $105 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
