Job Description:
We are seeking passionate and approachable Martial Arts Instructors to lead engaging and dynamic group classes. As a Martial Arts Fitness Coach, you will empower individuals to achieve their fitness goals through martial arts, emphasizing technique, conditioning, and overall health.
Responsibilities:
- Design and instruct energetic and safe martial arts-inspired fitness classes that cater to various fitness levels and interests. Incorporate a mix of technique drills, pad work, strength training, and conditioning exercises.
- Offer modifications and adjustments to ensure participants of all levels and differently-abled individuals can safely participate and progress.
- Create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that encourages camaraderie and motivates participants to reach their full potential.
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of participants by enforcing proper technique, using appropriate equipment, and offering modifications as needed.
- Share your knowledge and passion for martial arts as a fun and effective way to improve fitness, reduce stress, and build confidence and discipline.
- Participate in or promote member community events.
- Conduct both group and private classes as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in martial arts training and technique.
- Open to Kickboxing / Jiu-Jutsu / Muay Thai / other disciplines
- Certifications from recognized martial arts organizations are a plus (not required).
- Experience or qualification with BodyCombat or BodyStrike is a plus
- Experience teaching group fitness classes or personal martial arts training.
- Valid First Aid/CPR + AED certification.
- Ability to provide modifications and variations to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Maintain open availability for a minimum of 6 classes a week.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time/Freelance position with flexible hours based on your availability, class schedules, and member demand.

Salary and Benefits:
