Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate construction costs in a competitive manner, including quantities take-off and measurement for Civil, Structural, and Architectural elements during the tender stage.
- Value Engineering: Apply value engineering principles to optimize project costs and value.
- Tender Documentation: Prepare and compile tender documentation for submission during the tender phase.
- Contract Administration: Manage contract administration tasks during the post-contract phase.
- Variation Advise: Prepare and submit Variation Advise (VA) to clients, including cost estimations during the post-contract phase.
- Variation Orders: Assess and process Variation Orders (VO) for subcontractors and vendors.
- Progress Claims: Prepare progress claims for clients and consultants.
- Subcontractor Payments: Prepare progress payments for subcontractors and vendors.
- Subcontract Negotiation: Negotiate and award subcontract work to subcontractors and vendors.
- Project Meetings: Attend project meetings with clients and consultants.
- Contract Familiarity: Be knowledgeable about SIA and REDAS Forms of Contract Administration, as well as SOP Act of Administration.
- Final Account: Manage final account administration.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
