Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full sets of accounts including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Handle payroll processing and statutory submissions (CPF, IRAS).
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Provide financial analysis and support to the Director.
- Implement and maintain internal control systems.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, and Marine Services Industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be proficient in Chinese due to communication requirements with Chinese-speaking associates.
