Store Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. People

- Display and reinforce teamwork and people skills to gain commitment from Store Teams to deliver Excellent Food Safety and QSC standards.

- Plan, recruit, interview and conduct OJEs based on stores needs and ensure staffing objectives are met.

- Train and develop staff to ensure that assigned store is adequately staffed in order to maximize sales potential, operational efficiency and reduce staff turnover.

- Know, enforce, educate and consult with all staff on all appropriate HR policies, labor laws, security and safety procedures.

- Train, support, coach, consult and recognize the results of all staff.

- Conduct performance appraisals and gives input based on defined goals and objectives for each staff.

- Ensures that individual development plans leaders to assistant store managers are implemented.

- Consult with the management on building staff commitment and assist with plan to increase employee’s loyalty, satisfaction and pride with Mr Bean's experience.

  1. Safety & Quality, Service, Cleanliness (QSC)

- Support, coach and consult teams in critical store systems that help to produce consistently high levels of QSC.

- Follow company's guidelines and empowerment to recover customers.

- Recover customers of the assigned stores professionally and timely according to the customer recovery guidelines.

- Submit Incident Report inclusive of actions taken for customers’ feedbacks and any stores' incidents timely according to company guidelines.

- Protect Mr Bean's brand by consulting and coaching to ensure that the outlet meet Mr Bean's QSC, safety and sanitization standards and guidelines.

- Ensure stores' food products and ingredients store, use and sell according to First-In-First-Out and First-Expire-First-Out guidelines.

- Conduct Cash Audit and Food Safety and QSC Audit on the assigned stores. Develop action plan with stores' leaders if needed.

- Protect brand's and stores' image and cleanliness in ensuring stores structures, equipment and fixtures are in good condition, clean and housekeeping duties are performed routinely.

  1. Sales

- Ensure service staff suggestive sell at all times to bring up the sales, average check and meet promotion target.

- Properly execute market wide promotions.

- Support, coach and coordinate implementation and execution of new products and business/ training processes consistently within the store.

- To follow up and lead the teams to meet outlet's Monthly Sales and New Product Promotion Targets.

- Collate customers' feedbacks and suggest ideas or recommend actions.

- Suggest Local Store Marketing activities for the assigned stores, monitor and evaluate the results and effectiveness.

  1. Business Results

- Consults and is accountable for creating a positive work environment while working shoulder-to-shoulder with the Direct Supervisor and Store Teams to create and accomplish business, in terms of QSC, Sales, People and Profits objectives.

- Uses all informational resources available such as P&L, Customer Feedback information, etc. to identify opportunities and threats to build a business plan to optimize potential.

- Develop recruitment and training plans to ensure stores are appropriately staffed with productive staff for all dayparts.

- Develop, administer and control cost budgets of the assigned stores.

- Support and assist immediate superior towards achieving stores and area results.

- Monitor & analyse stores' business results. Self-initiate and periodically co-develop business plan with superior to improve stores' results.

- Deploy resources among the assigned stores to optimise resources.

- Assist superior to achieve area and company business results as needed.

  1. Administrative & Others

- Ensure stores perform shift control and all tasks are in accordance with standards consistently.

- Responsible for daily sales deposit, stocks ordering, month-end inventory and petty cash reimbursement in place.

- Review Stores' sales projection and approve Weekly Store Schedules to maximise the use of labor and achieve sales.

- Review and approve stores' working hours.

- Co-develop, execute and follow up stores' action plans in terms of People, Food Safety, QSC, Sales and profit.

- Perform at least one opening and one closing shift at each of the assigned stores.

- Perform other job duties or projects as given by superior or management.


Job Specifications:

Skills:

· Simple computer skills in Words & Excel

Education:

· At least O Level/ Professional Certificate in F&B management

Experience:

· Minimum 1 year experience as a store-in-charge in management of Food and Service Operations
