- Salary: Up to $3,800 x 13 months + variable bonus up to 3.25 months based on performance.
- Working hours: 9am to 6.30pm (Monday to Friday).
- 1 year or internship experience in Trade Finance Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the issuance of import LCs and process import collections, ensuring timely acceptances and payments.
- Manage import and export loans, including roll-overs, payments, and handling past due loans.
- Handle export collections and advise on export LCs, including confirmation, negotiation, acceptance, discounting, and reimbursement claims.
- Administer various types of guarantees, such as shipping guarantees, bid and performance bonds, and drawee risks.
- Record and register receipt of trade documents accurately and promptly.
- Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks on all trade finance transactions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Input trade finance transactions into the system and generate entries, ensuring accurate customer advice and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1 year or internship experience in trade finance operations within a banking environment, with comprehensive knowledge of relevant trade finance rules and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of interpreting and verifying complex trade finance documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and provide exceptional client service.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications; familiarity with trade finance systems and platforms is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
