Cyber Security Engineer / Network Security Engineer

• 5 days work week
• Location: East / North East (No WFH)
• $4k-$6k (Basic)

Job Scope:

Threat and Vulnerability Management

• Identify and mitigate threats
• Conduct vulnerability assessments
• Implement security measures

Security Infrastructure Management

• Configure and manage network security devices
• Ensure system security with updates and patches
• Implement and manage endpoint security solutions

Incident Response and Recovery

• Develop incident response plans
• Manage security incidents and conduct root cause analysis
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans

Security Policy Development and Compliance

• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with laws and industry standards
• Conduct security awareness training

Security Monitoring and Reporting

• Implement continuous monitoring tools
• Analyze security logs and reports
• Prepare and present security status reports

Research and Development

• Stay updated on security trends and threats
• Conduct security research
• Develop innovative security solutions

Collaboration and Coordination

• Collaborate with IT and other departments
• Coordinate with security vendors
• Work with external auditors for assessments

System and Application Security

• Ensure secure software development practices
• Conduct security code reviews and penetration testing
• Oversee the patch management process

Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or CompTIA Security+
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in application of cybersecurity.
