Job Scope:
Software Development:
- Adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to create high-quality, maintainable software.
- Analyze and improve existing software.
Design and Documentation:
- Draft functional and detailed design specifications.
- Design and update electrical schematic drawings.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation.
Client Requirements and Project Management:
- Interpret design parameters based on client requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to meet project schedules and resolve issues.
System Analysis and Implementation:
- Participate in control system requirement analysis.
- Source electrical components and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Perform PLC and HMI programming, system implementation, testing, and debugging.
- Perform basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
Customer Support:
- Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting support at customer sites.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Relevant work experience in the automation or semiconductor industry.
- Strong PLC and HMI programming skills, preferably with Omron and Mitsubishi PLCs, and Proface HMIs.
- Good to have additional skills such as Motion Control, Analog, PIDs, Process Control, and high-end fieldbus communication (Modbus, EtherCAT, EIP).
