JUNIOR LEAD ENRICHMENT TEACHER
We are seeking a nurturing and experienced Full time Junior Lead Teacher to join our dynamic team at our Holistic Brain Enrichment Center for Babies and Toddlers. The Teacher will play a pivotal role in our parent accompanied classes suitable for our youngest learners from 6 months- 6 years and teach all programme bands. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for early childhood education.
All classes are conducted in English. Working days will be Wednesday-Sunday (9AM-7PM on weekdays; 8.30-7.00pm Weekends) Monday and Tuesdays are off days.
Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Understanding and development: Grasp the curriculum thoroughly and actively contribute to its improvement. You will also be responsible for the preparation and upkeep of age-appropriate teaching resources, arrangement, appearance, and learning environment of the classroom.
2. Parent Engagement: Engage with parents, offering feedback for trial sessions and guidance on renewal of packages, thereby fostering a strong partnership between the center and families.
3. Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and high interpersonal abilities to connect with both children and parents, fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment.
4. Keep accurate records of children’s progress and address each child’s educational and developmental needs on an individual basis to the best of your ability.
5. Patience, Empathy, and Genuine Care: Cultivate an atmosphere of patience, empathy, and heartfelt dedication to nurturing and educating young children, ensuring their well-being and development.
Qualifications:
1. At least 1+years of previous experience working with babies and toddlers as an enrichment teacher OR experience working with kids.
2. Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field (preferred). (If entry level)
3. Possess excellent communication and classroom management skills.
4. Enthusiastic & energetic and has a positive mindset to learn and grow together with the company.
5. Creative and loving energy with a positive disposition.
Salary: $1800-$3500 (Negotiable based on experience)
